Sleeve Anchors Overview
Sleeve anchors are fast, easy-to-use, and versatile fasteners designed for masonry and concrete. They are ideal for securing into brickwork, blockwork, friable materials, and solid concrete.
These anchors feature a collared sleeve that expands against the base material when the nut is tightened, ensuring a strong connection and evenly distributing the load-bearing weight. This makes them suitable for a wide range of applications, from securing brackets to brickwork to structural concrete anchoring.
Scrooz Fasteners' sleeve anchors offer a cost-effective, all-steel, controlled expansion solution. Their medium-duty, thin-walled design features collapsible full-length sleeves, which evenly distribute expansion forces along the anchor body. This prevents point loads, making them especially effective for use in hollow brick installations.
To install, simply drill a hole the same diameter as the body (ie 8 x 40mm sleeve anchor drill an 8mm hole), hammer the sleeve anchor directly through your fixture and into your masonry and tighten the nut.
